Zumo 550 is the new rugged GPS by Garmin, which it claims, is designed by the bikers. It measures 11.3 x 9.9 x 7.3 cm and weighs about 269 grams, it has a sleek design with 3.5” screen and rubberized grips on the side and a 1.9GB hard drive. It comes with loaded maps and details and is ready to use straightaway. It has a 4hr internal battery which means you don’t have to worry about charging it frequently.

It comes with preloaded city navigator street maps, and Points of interest (POI’s), including motels, restaurants, motels, ATMs etc. It will give you turn-by-turn voice directions once you enter the destination. With Zumo 550’s Bluetooth technology you can talk on your phone without getting distracted and without removing your helmet. All you need to do is to connect your phone’s Bluetooth headset to Zumo 550’s Wireless. You can download routes to share with your family and friends and can also download mp3 to listen on the road while you travel. With the antenna provided in the system you can also check on the weather, listen to radio and also get traffic alerts, and just by using a button on the screen it can recalculate your route and provide you with other option to avoid traffic problems.
